About Our Founder

Beyond 12TH Consulting founder Yanique Powell brings considerable experience as a New York City High School Counselor and former YMCA Program Director working with high school students of various economic and ethnic backgrounds. She is highly skilled in providing guidance for college access, academic achievement, career and social-emotional development.
She is a passionate, people oriented, team leader and player who is dedicated to helping young people to become their best selves.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The University of Vermont, a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Long Island University and most recently acquired a second Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Hunter College.
